Catch Me When I Fall by Brittany Ann book Review: 3 stars. I was very lucky to receive this copy from Brittany over on NetGalley, THANK YOU! I want to start by saying I will definitely be buying book 2 of this duet series as I have to know how the cliffhanger ends.
Carrie’s story starts after her heartbreaking year following her husband death. Family and friends are worried about her, so hire Grayson – A bounty hunter – to track her down. For me, Grayson came on a little bit strong somewhat making the reader feel like he knew her from the past which confused me a little.
I would’ve enjoyed a bit more of a background following her settling in period to her new town of Astoria. It felt a bit rushed.
There are lots of trigger warnings so please make sure you read them before diving into this romance book.
All in all I really enjoyed Carries personality and her views on body weight. The cliffhanger had me, I really didn’t see that coming. And 🌶️🌶️🌶️.
